House Oversight Committee Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., has provided an update on the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden and warns that no one is above the law.

At the House Republican Conference stakeout, Comer provided an update on Biden’s impeachment inquiry because of his and his family’s corrupt business dealings that benefited from his position of power.

The committee has been pursuing an investigation into the Biden family’s foreign business dealings. The video of Comer’s speech was shared in a press release where he said, “Our investigation has revealed how Joe Biden knew of, participated in, and benefited from his family cashing in on the Biden name around the world.”

In the committee’s pursuit of the truth, Comer had revealed that “Financial records, emails, text messages, and witness testimony reveal that the Biden family enterprise is centered on Joe Biden’s political career and connections. Joe Biden knew about, participated, and benefitted from these schemes.”

Comer also explains how the committee intends to carry out the investigation, starting with interviewing the members of the Biden family. RSBN reported that Hunter Biden will be testifying in a closed-door deposition, likely in December, and in public at a later date.

In anticipation of the likely pushback from Biden supporters, Comer had explained, “Democrats should have no concerns with first deposing and interviewing key witnesses. This is how they conducted their Impeachment Inquiry of former President Trump and the January 6th Committee.”

It’s not just the impeachment inquiry President Trump has had to face but multiple indictments and sham trials which were no more than election interference.

With the acceleration of the investigation into Biden, Comer sent out a warning in his speech, saying, “No one is above the law – even if your last name is Biden.”
