Conservatives are expressing their frustrations at Vice President Kamala Harris’ shocking statement that January 6, 2021, was the worst American conflict since the Civil War during the 2024 presidential debate, which was held the night before the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
During the debate, Harris stated, “Donald Trump left us the worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War.”
In order to honor those fallen on 9/11, female swimmer and fair play for women’s sports advocate Riley Gains posted to X stating, “Today, we reflect on the lives lost & the heroes who arose 23 years ago during the most devastating terrorist attack on American soil—9/11.”
“This comes just a day after Kamala Harris outrageously claimed that J6 was worse than 9/11,” she added, pledging to honor the fallen and never forget.
Podcast hosts the Hodgetwins didn’t mince words. They posted, “Last night Kamala really told the world that January 6th was worse than 9/11.”
Journalist, veteran and author Jack Posobiec posted a picture of Jan. 6 protesters peacefully walking through the Capitol building and wrote, “Last night Kamala said this was worse than 9/11.”
Former congresswoman and Trump transition team member Tulsi Gabbard took a different approach. She reminded Americans to not just honor the fallen, but also recognize the motivation behind the attacks, calling out “radical Islamist ideology” as “the greatest short and long-term threat to our country and world.”
She concluded, “We need a President who understands this threat and is committed to defeating it to defend our freedom and keep the American people safe.”
Last month, RSBN reported that Gabbard endorsed Trump for president, citing his “pursuit of peace, seeing war as the last resort,” as a main reason for her support.
