President Trump received a winner’s welcome over the weekend while attending UFC 287, as eager crowds cheered his first post-arraignment appearance on Saturday night in Miami, Florida. The president sat ringside with Dana White, Kid Rock, Mike Tyson, and Donald Trump Jr.
Videos shared on social media showed the arena exploding with applause and cheers of support for President Trump as he waved to the crowd and pumped his fist:
According to a report from Fox News, Jorge Masvidal, a UFC star, started a “Let’s go, Brandon” chant in the arena among the audience.
He also delivered remarks that showed his support for President Trump, the outlet revealed. He told the crowd, “I wanted to say, greatest president in the history of the world sitting right there. I love that guy.”
The UFC audience broke out into chants of “USA” as Trump initially entered the arena on the way to his ringside seat:
President Trump’s appearance at the UFC fight came just several days after his arraignment in New York, where he pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of “falsifying” business records.
As previously reported by RSBN, attorney Jesse Binnall suggested that the Trump legal team may file a motion to dismiss the Manhattan district attorney’s case later this year. He also suggested that there may also be a future motion for dismissal of the judge in the case, State Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan.
The next hearing in the case is set for Dec. 4, and Trump’s legal team will have until Aug. 8 to file any motions.
