DETAILS: Trump campaign to host watch party of Iowa’s caucus results

President Trump’s 2024 campaign announced their plans to host a caucus night watch party in Des Moines, Iowa, where attendees will gather to watch the results of the first-in-the-nation primary contest for the Republican nomination.

The viewing will be held at the Iowa Events Center on Monday, Jan. 15, the night the caucus is set to officially take place.

Per Independent, the Republican caucuses will convene statewide at 8:00 p.m. ET and begin with the election of a caucus chair and secretary.

Forty convention delegates are up for grabs in the Hawkeye State and will be distributed to candidates on a proportional basis in accordance with their share of support.

The Trump campaign has seen favorable polling across the key states, leading his opponents by nearly 33 points in Iowa.

According to Real Clear Politics, Trump’s average support rests at 51.3 percent, while his nearest challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, averages a distant second with 18.6 percent.

Former S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley averaged third place with 16.1 percent support, followed by businessman Vivek Ramaswamy at 5.9 percent, former N.J. Gov. Chris Christie at 3.7 percent, and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchison with less than one percent support among Iowans.
