Billionaire entrepreneur, and soon-to-be Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) leader Elon Musk, hinted at the future during a Thursday evening speech at Mar-a-Lago.
Speaking to a large venue of guests attending the America First Policy Institute gala, Musk cheerfully promised “a revolution.”
He expressed his excitement for the future of the United States and emphasized, “The Republic has given us a mandate.”
Musk highlighted the Republican’s historical sweep of the House, Senate, Electoral College, and the popular vote, calling it “the clearest mandate.”
He told the crowd, “The people have spoken. The people want change.”
He further elaborated on his predictions for Trump’s second term, telling the crowd, “I think this is going to be the most transformative presidency, perhaps since the founding of the country.”
The crowd cheered as Musk continued, “And President Trump is picking the Cabinet to do it.”
“You can see the choices are people who are actually going to make change. It’s not going to be business as usual. We’re going to shake things up. It’s going to be a revolution,” Musk emphatically stated.
He concluded his remarks with, “We’re headed towards, I think, a fantastic future, I’m super excited. I look forward to experiencing that with everyone.”
Various conservative leaders and supporters attended the event, but perhaps most interestingly, Argentina’s new President, Javier Milei.
Musk shared a photo of himself with President Trump and Milei, which has received over 250,000 likes on X.
The Associated Press reported that Milei was the first world leader to meet with Trump since his victory on November 5. He also delivered remarks to attendees, during which he spoke out against far-left radical ideologies. He reportedly saluted to Musk and told him that X was helping “save humanity.
President Trump congratulated Milei during his speech at the gala and told him that it was an “honor” to host him at Mar-a-Lago.
“The job you’ve done is incredible. Make Argentina Great Again, you know MAGA. He’s a MAGA person,” Trump told the crowd.
Like Milei with Argentina, President Trump, Musk, and others, intend to reduce government spending and eliminate unnecessary programs and positions to catapult America into a brighter future.
