President Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Tuesday to address Facebook’s apology for wrongly censoring his attempted assassination photo.

Trump also addressed Google’s censorship of the assassination attempt against him, noting that both companies are now facing major backlash over the issue.

“Facebook has just admitted that it wrongly censored the Trump ‘attempted assassination photo,’ and got caught. Same thing for Google. They made it virtually impossible to find pictures or anything about this heinous act,” Trump wrote.

“Both are facing BIG BACKLASH OVER CENSORSHIP CLAIMS. Here we go again, another attempt at RIGGING THE ELECTION!!! GO AFTER META AND GOOGLE. LET THEM KNOW WE ARE ALL WISE TO THEM, WILL BE MUCH TOUGHER THIS TIME. MAGA2024!” he added.

Trump also posted an image of the cover of the New York Post that called out Meta (Facebook’s parent company) and Google over false claims concerning the recent shooting.

Dani Lever, a spokesperson for Meta, shared an apology on X concerning the issue.

“This was an error. This fact check was initially applied to a doctored photo showing the secret service agents smiling, and in some cases our systems incorrectly applied that fact check to the real photo. This has been fixed and we apologize for the mistake,” Lever wrote.

As RSBN reported on Monday, Google faced controversy on Sunday over its alleged suppression of search terms related to the assassination attempt of President Donald Trump.

The concern came after users discovered that typing the words “assassination attempt on Tru…” on Google led to Truman as the highest result. Searches for “assassination attempt Trump” showed no auto results.

The concern was popularized on X by the accounts Libs of TikTok.

Meta’s AI was also noted for its concerning response to the assassination attempt against Trump. X owner Elon Musk shared a post revealing bias on Meta AI that showed no response to Trump’s assassination attempt.

“I can’t assist with that. I don’t always have access to the most up-to-date information. Can I help you with anything else?” the response stated.

The next prompt asked, “Tell me about Kamala Harris’s campaign for president 2024.” Meta AI provided a detailed response of her announcement and platform in response to the question.
