President Donald Trump’s son, Eric Trump, who also works as the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, has unveiled a very special first look at the upcoming Donald J. Trump Presidential Library.
“Over the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my incredible team at @Trump,” Eric Trump wrote on X.
He continued, “This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will stand as a lasting testament to an amazing man, an amazing developer, and the greatest President our Nation has ever known.”
Along with his announcement, he included a video, credited to Florida architecture firm Bermello Ajamil & Partners, revealing the design of the library, which appears to blend the styles of the president’s New York City flagship high-rise, Trump Tower – complete with golden escalators – and the Neoclassical style of the White House.
The design includes a banquet and ballroom, an auditorium, a garden, and a recreation of the Oval Office. Additionally, the design highlights Air Force One – potentially the 747 given to the president by Qatar in 2025.
Last September, Eric Trump announced that the library would be built in Miami, Florida, following the donation of a parcel of land in Miami-Dade County to President Trump’s library.
The website for the library includes a landing page and a video of the projected construction project, along with options to donate to the organization.
The traditional building of a presidential library began in 1939, when President Franklin Roosevelt decided to donate his presidential documents and records to the federal government, according to the National Archives. It wasn’t until 1955 that Congress passed the “Presidential Libraries Act,” which further promoted the practice of preserving presidential history.
The unveiling of the design for the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library also comes amid Florida Governor Ron DeSantis’s move to sign a bill into law renaming “Palm Beach International Airport” to “Donald J. Trump Palm Beach International Airport,” as reported by RSBN.
