Gov. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., has given President Trump the credit he deserves in an interview for how he handled the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic.

During an interview shared on X with Fox News, Gov. Kristi Noem, R-S.D., explained that she was so thankful that Trump was in charge during the beginning days of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Noem told Fox News, “I was just remembering back to those first days of Covid, and I thank god that President Trump was the president and in the White House then.”

Noem explained that President Trump let her do her job. “He actually let me as governor do my job,” she said. “He let me make decisions for our people that were the best for our state and our state is thriving today because of that.”

The talk of Covid comes as Biden bizarrely appears to revisit the early days of Covid-19 mandates. According to Politico, Biden used the early days of panic during the pandemic as a campaign strategy. Combined with his controversial federal mandates that altered many Americans’ way of life, this strategy is a deep source of bitterness for many.

Noem commented on Biden’s wish to reminisce about the Covid days. She told Fox News, “If Biden wants to go back and visit Covid, boy, have I got some stories of what happened on day one when Joe Biden took over the White House.”

When Biden moved into the White House and took over, Noem explained that “our military declined. He attacked our people. He tried to mandate vaccines and masks. He hurt our children and set them back.” Noem adds, “It was tragic.”

The state of South Dakota is thriving today, and Noem credits President Trump for this.
