Conservative leaders banded together to support President Trump after his third indictment and questioned the timing due to progress in the Biden family crimes investigation.

News broke Tuesday that President Trump is now facing a third indictment which includes four charges regarding his questioning of the 2020 election results, per RSBN. Several America First Republicans quickly came to his defense.

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., wrote on “X,” formerly known as “Twitter,” that “The indictment against Trump is total garbage.”

Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., posted a photo of herself standing with President Trump with the hashtag #StandWithTrump.

Lawmakers from all over the nation joined the movement. Rep. Mike Collins, R-Ga., issued a statement decrying the “politically motivated charges.”

Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, R-Tenn., called out the “double standard.”

He said, “The same DOJ that has done everything to distract from the investigation into corruption by President Biden and his family is yet again trying to persecute President Trump.”

Attorney and Shapiro Chair of Public Interest Law at George Washington University, Jonathan Turley, said, “You can reduce much of the indictment to haiku…”

Rep. Max Miller, R-Ohio, noted, “President Trump’s momentum is growing. President Biden’s approval is falling. America knows the truth. We know the outcome.”

Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas, wrote, “Biden and his DOJ know that Trump is the biggest threat against the corrupt establishment.”

Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Montana, called it, “Another sham indictment.”

Rep. Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., stated, “Joe Biden’s weaponized DOJ will stop at NOTHING to try to take down his political opponent: President Donald Trump.”

Rep. Josh Breech, R-Okla., pointed out, “A day after Hunter Biden’s former business partner testified to Congress that Joe Biden was on 20+ calls with his son’s business partners, President Trump is indicted yet again on bogus charges.”

Various notable America First leaders offered their support along with Americans who are concerned about election integrity.

This caused “I Stand with Trump” to trend on X and is causing more and more people to speak out against the weaponization of the justice system.
