The CEO of JP Morgan, Jamie Dimon, acknowledged in an interview that President Trump was right about a lot of things, and ultimately, that is why Americans are choosing him.
In an interview with CNBC News, Dimon said exactly what he thought about President Trump and why he did so well in the Iowa caucus, which he won with 51 percent. The interview took place live from the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and focused on questions about the U.S. economy.
Andrew Ross Sorkin from CNBC News asked Dimon, “How do you see the U.S. economy playing itself out over the next 12 months?”
Dimon answered that he believes President Trump is capable of getting the U.S. economy back on track, saying, “If you look at, just take a step back, be honest. He’s kind of right about NATO. Kind of right about immigration. He grew the economy quite well.”
Dimon also explained that he wished that the Democrats would “think a little more carefully when they talk about MAGA,” referring to how President Trump turned out to be right on a lot of things that Biden is now struggling to fix during his term as president.
One of those things Biden has lost control of is the current border crisis.
CNBC shared what Dimon thinks about the crisis, “We have to control the borders. We need more merit-based immigration. We need more seasonal immigration.” He added, “If you do not control the borders, you’re going to destroy our country.”
RSBN reported that immigration and President Trump’s Agenda47 policy platform is what fueled President Trump’s win at the Iowa caucus and will likely be a trend for the general election in November.
