Conservative superstar and Trump ally Kari Lake has lent her endorsement to an America First candidate for U.S. Congress in the great state of Arizona, testing the strength of her political power since expanding her national profile in 2023.
Lake has endorsed Abe Hamadeh for U.S. Congress, calling him a “relentless fighter for Arizonans.”
Americans may recall Hamadeh’s previous run for Arizona Attorney General on the Republican ticket in the November 2022 midterm elections. He was endorsed by President Donald Trump and ran alongside Kari Lake in her gubernatorial bid.
Last year, he told RSBN that he was ready to prosecute election-related crimes of 2020, trumpeting a message of “strength…Donald Trump taught us how to negotiate and how to be tough.”
While Hamadeh’s bid for attorney general proved unsuccessful, he has not left the political world behind. In October, he announced that he would be running for Arizona’s 8th Congressional District. According to The Hill, his announcement came only a matter of hours after current Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., stated that she would not be seeking reelection in 2024.
In her endorsement, Lake said of Hamadeh, “He stayed in the political arena and fought for election integrity while others hid. Abe lived and went to three schools in Arizona’s Eighth District district [sic], and he’s running for Congress to give back to the community that made him the man he is today. I’m proud to call Abe a friend and honored to give him my endorsement.”
Hamadeh has legally challenged the results of his election in Arizona and advocated for “HONEST elections” in the wake of November 2022. Per The Hill, his election last year was lost by “fewer than 300 votes.”
Hamadeh has also been endorsed by State Sen. Wendy Rogers, R-Ariz., who praised him for his “geopolitical expertise.” She explained, “He is a MAGA-STRONG, TENACIOUS FIGHTER who loves his country. Pro-Trump, Pro-Life, Pro-Family, Pro-Borders, Pro-2A, Pro-Election Integrity.”
