Keith Kellogg declares Trump as the only leader capable of ending the Ukraine war

During an appearance on “Rob Schmitt Tonight,” special envoy to Russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, declared that President Trump is the only leader capable of ending the Ukraine war.

The war in Ukraine has been ongoing for just shy of three years this month, and under the Biden administration, no clear ending was in sight, and the U.S. has been sending billions in aid. According to Fox News, the U.S. has spent around $175 billion in aid to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in February, and now that President Trump is back in the White House, there is hope that the war is finally coming to an end.

During his appearance on Newsmax’s show, Kellogg proclaimed he believed that President Trump could end the war. Newsmax reported that he said that President Trump “knows about destruction, he knows about death, and he wants to end this war. I think he’s absolutely right.” He also added, “I think, honestly, Rob, the only guy that can do that in the world and bring this to a conclusion is Donald J. Trump.”

According to Yahoo News, Kellog also addressed the rumors that President Trump’s administration was going to reveal his plan to end the conflict at the Munich Security Conference next week.

He explained, “We are going to lead it up to him to help him out, get it to a point where he delivers that, but that is not going to happen next week at all.”

He outlined what would have to happen first, saying, “We are going to have great discussions with senior leaders in the European environment and bring back what we found out to the President of the United States and then go from there.”

AP News reported that President Trump is in the process of brokering an agreement with Ukraine to gain access to rare earth materials in exchange for military aid. Fox News shared what President Trump told reporters at the White House on Monday. He said, “We’re putting in hundreds of billions of dollars. They have great rare earths. And I want to have security of the rare earth, and they’re willing to do (that).”

While no official plans have been revealed, President Trump is positive about an end, and AP News reported that he said, “We made a lot of progress on Russia and Ukraine. We’ll see what happens. We’re going to stop that ridiculous war.”
