Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has pledged to introduce legislation to ban child exposure to drag queen performances.

“I’m introducing a bill to make it illegal for children to be exposed to Drag Queen performances,” the congresswoman announced on Twitter Tuesday night.

Just days before this announcement, Greene exploded on Dallas parents who took their children to a drag queen show after vile videos of the performance spread through social media.

As parents looked on, the children at the event, “Drag the Kids to Pride,” were invited on the stage to dance and interact with drag queens.

“It should be illegal to take children into Drag Queen shows and strip clubs,” Greene tweeted. “And there should be no federal funding for any school that intentionally confuses children about gender/sexuality. Any teacher or school employee caught doing so should be fired and lose all benefits.”

Horrified by the drag event, Republican State Rep. Bryan Slaton from the Lone Star State also vowed to propose legislation prohibiting minors from attending drag events, Fox News reported.

“The events of this past weekend were horrifying and show a disturbing trend in which perverted adults are obsessed with sexualizing young children,” Slaton said.

“I promised my voters that I would stand up for their values and fight to protect Texas kids. I was re-elected on that promise and I intend to keep it by authoring legislation to defend kids from being subjected to drag shows and other inappropriate events. I look forward to working with my colleagues to pass this important legislation,” he continued.

Flordia Republican State Rep. Anthony Sabatini also announced plans to introduce similar legislation in the Sunshine State, calling for an emergency special legislative session after a recent “Pride on the Block: Drag Show for Kids!” event in West Palm Beach.

“I will be proposing Legilsation to charge w/ a Felony & terminate the parental rights of any adult who brings a child to these perverted sex shows aimed at FL kids,” Sabatini tweeted earlier this month.
