Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., stood up for President Trump this week while discussing the extensive investigations from the House Oversight Committee probing Joe Biden’s murky overseas business dealings.
She wrote on Twitter, “Through our work on the Oversight Committee, the evidence is there to impeach Joe Biden AND expunge President Trump’s impeachments. It’s absolutely the right thing to do!”
This is not the first time that Rep. Greene has discussed expunging the impeachment record for President Trump. Greene, alongside Rep. Elise Stefanik, R-N.Y., introduced resolutions earlier this year that would formally expunge the two failed impeachments from President Trump’s official record.
“I am proud to introduce two resolutions with my colleague @mtgreenee that would expunge President Trump’s two sham impeachments,” Stefanik stated.
On Tuesday, Rep. Greene called for the impeachment of Joe Biden, writing, “Expunge the WRONGFUL Trump impeachments. IMPEACH CRIMINAL Biden.”
Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., confirmed on Monday night that the House was preparing to bring an impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden as Republicans have continued to uncover shocking information related to the Biden family’s alleged criminal business schemes.
McCarthy told Fox News host Sean Hannity, “…this president has also used something we have not seen since Richard Nixon – used the weaponization of government to benefit his family and deny Congress the ability to have the oversight.”
IRS whistleblower testimony and the FBI’s unclassified FD-1023 form have presented a damning picture of the Bidens’ alleged foreign business schemes. As reported by RSBN, the sought-after FD-1023 revealed, for example, that Burisma’s CFO, Vadim Pojarskii, “hired Hunter Biden to ‘protect us through his dad from all kinds of problems.’”
At the time, Joe Biden was serving as Vice President of the United States.
In response to McCarthy’s statement on a potential impeachment inquiry against Biden in the House, Rep. Greene wrote on Twitter, “Soon.”
