Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., ripped the Republican House majority on Monday, scorching GOP representatives for failing to take harsher action in the impeachment processes against Joe Biden and U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

On X, she wrote, “Let me get this straight. The Republican majority controlled Congress has ousted a Republican Speaker and is now on the verge of expelling a not yet convicted Republican member, but we can’t even impeach Mayorkas or Biden or stop the weaponized DOJ against Trump and all their political enemies?”

According to NBC News, Rep. George Santos, R-N.Y., is on the verge of potentially being expelled from Congress after allegations emerged that he had misused campaign funds for non-campaign-related activities, among other things.

In September, then-Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., directed House Republicans to open an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. The investigations are continuing forward.

As reported by RSBN, Hunter Biden will reportedly appear before the House Oversight Committee as a part of their continued scrutiny of Joe Biden’s alleged foreign business dealings with countries like Ukraine and China.

However, the impeachment process is not moving along as quickly as some would like, prompting criticism from more action-oriented members of the House like Rep. Greene.

In early November, Rep. Greene introduced a resolution to impeach Secretary Mayorkas after an elderly Georgia couple was killed in a car accident involving alleged human traffickers who were reportedly smuggling illegal aliens into the United States.

“The utter disregard for American life displayed by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas can no longer be ignored. The time for more hearings and phases is over,” said Greene. “Americans are getting murdered just traveling to see their families.”

However, the resolution was sent back to the Homeland Security Committee not long after rather than heading to the floor for a vote, per CNBC.
