Fulton County Sheriff’s Office released the full charges as well as the bond amount as President Trump was being processed.
On Thursday afternoon, President Trump took to Truth Social to express his frustrations about the charges.
“…I have to start getting ready to head down to Atlanta, Georgia, where Murder and other Violent Crimes have reached levels never seen before, to get ARRESTED by a Radical Left, Lowlife District Attorney, Fani Willis, for A PERFECT PHONE CALL, and having the audacity to challenge a RIGGED & STOLEN ELECTION. THE EVIDENCE IS IRREFUTABLE! ARREST TIME: 7:30 P.M.”
Following his arrest, President Trump told reporters, “What has taken place here is a travesty of justice…I did nothing wrong,” and insisted that this latest arrest is simply “election interference.”
