A fundraising push for the victims of Saturday’s assassination attempt on President Donald Trump during a rally in Pennsylvania has already raised over $3.8 million, including gifts from a variety of celebrities and political leaders.

The GoFundMe donation page, which states that it is authorized by President Trump, is organized by Trump financial leader Meredith O’Rourke.

“President Donald Trump has authorized this account as a place for donations to the supporters and families wounded or killed in today’s brutal and horrific assassination attempt. All donations will be directed to these proud Americans as they grieve and recover. May God bless and unite our nation,” the fundraising text reads.

Over 63,000 people have already donated to the effort since the tragic assassination attempt on Saturday.

Among the well-known names contributing to the fundraiser are UFC CEO Dana White and musical artist Kid Rock. Both men reportedly donated $50,000.

Vivek Ramaswamy donated $30,000 and conservative media personality Ben Shapiro donated $15,000, according to the Detroit News.

Donald Trump Jr. also promoted the fundraiser on his social media profile to bring more attention to the cause.

The victims of the tragic shooting include firefighter Corey Comperatore, 50, from Pennsylvania. Two other people were injured and are in stable condition. They include 57-year-old David Dutch, of New Kensington, and 74-year-old James Copenhaver, of Moon Township.

“These victims and their families are certainly in our thoughts today,” said Colonel Christopher Paris, Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner. “The Pennsylvania State Police continue to work tirelessly alongside our federal, state and local partners as this investigation continues.”

Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro directed that flags be lowered to half-staff to honor Comperatore. He additionally conveyed his condolences and prayers to the victims and their families.

The shooter was identified as 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks, a resident of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

Trump was treated and later released for the shooting wound to his right ear. He is in Milwaukee where he will participate in the Republican National Convention.
