NEXT: Trump heads back to Iowa this week to campaign in Fort Dodge, Iowa

President Donald Trump will deliver remarks to a Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus Event in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Nov. 18, at Fort Dodge High School. Doors will open at 1:00 p.m. ET, and the 45th president will begin speaking at 4:00 p.m. ET.

Trump’s visit to the state will be his first trip back since he spoke there just two weeks ago in Sioux City.

The Iowa Republican primary is set to take place on Jan. 15, 2024. The Hawkeye State’s 40 delegates are awarded on a proportional basis and is scheduled to be the first primary contest in the nation.

Pre-election polling has also shown the 45th president with a wide lead over his other primary opponents. The Real Clear Politics average shows Trump with a 30-point lead as of Saturday (47.3 percent).

Trump’s nearest primary challenger, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, placed a distant second with 17 percent, and former S.C. Gov. Nikki Haley placed third with 14 percent support.
