President Donald Trump is back in the White House in 2025, and the contrast between his administration and Joe Biden’s chaotic reign of terror couldn’t possibly be more pronounced.
As Americans across the nation prepare to celebrate Easter Sunday, President Trump and the First Lady released a special statement honoring Holy Week, elevating the ideals of Christian-Judeo beliefs and praising the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross.
“During this sacred week, we acknowledge that the glory of Easter Sunday cannot come without the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the cross,” the president said in his official statement.
Trump expanded:
“In His final hours on Earth, Christ willingly endured excruciating pain, torture, and execution on the cross out of a deep and abiding love for all His creation. Through His suffering, we have redemption. Through His death, we are forgiven of our sins. Through His Resurrection, we have hope of eternal life. On Easter morning, the stone is rolled away, the tomb is empty, and light prevails over darkness—signaling that death does not have the final word.”
This stunning nod to Christian beliefs is a profound change from Joe Biden’s administration, who not only largely ignored the religious message of Easter, but also chose to declare Easter Sunday 2024 as a national “Transgender Day of Visibility” in a move widely regarded as a slap in the face to believers nationwide.
Unlike Biden, President Trump and his administration take Easter seriously. “This Holy Week, my Administration renews its promise to defend the Christian faith in our schools, military, workplaces, hospitals, and halls of government,” Trump explained in his statement.
And it’s not only words alone offered by Trump, but actions. His schedule is full of Holy Week events, spearheaded by the White House Faith Office – created specifically by President Trump at the beginning of his second term in office.
According to Fox News Digital, beyond the president’s thoughtful statement issued on Palm Sunday, Trump will likely host an Easter dinner on Wednesday night, highlighting Biblical hymns, prayer, and remarks from the Commander-in-Chief himself.
But the president’s decision to emphasize Holy Week won’t end there. According to the outlet, Trump will also likely host a staff worship service in D.C. on Thursday, which will include speakers like Reverend Franklin Graham and singing talent from the highly respected Liberty University.
“This week, we pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon our beloved Nation. We pray that America will remain a beacon of faith, hope, and freedom for the entire world, and we pray to achieve a future that reflects the truth, beauty, and goodness of Christ’s eternal kingdom in Heaven,” Trump wrote in his Holy Week proclamation.
The difference between President Trump and Joe Biden is like the difference between day and night. One administration chose to denigrate Christians in America and elevate transgender activism. This new administration has chosen to offer praise to the Son of God and respectfully ask for prayer as the nation forges ahead during sometimes tumultuous and often harrowing times.
