A new Trafalgar group poll revealed major pushback to the notion that Americans should be forced out of their jobs if they are unvaccinated.
The September survey, which was conducted in partnership with Convention of States Action, among 1,097 likely voters revealed that 65 percent of respondents think employment should be unaffected by vaccine status, Human Events reported.
By party breakdown, a majority of Independents and Republicans responded “no” when asked if employees should lose their job if unvaccinated with 63.6 percent of Independents and 83.5 percent of Republicans.
Though not a majority, a plurality of Democrats also answered “no” at 47.9 percent, while 38.4 percent answered “yes.” The remaining respondents were not sure.
The broad bipartisan rebut to forced vaccination as a condition for employment comes after the Democrats snuck into the reconciliation package another provision to force employers to require employees to be vaccinated.
Now, employers that refuse to comply with Joe Biden’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) vaccine mandate may be fined up to $70,000 per violation.
Even worse, employers that indicated willful or repeated violations will be fined $700,000 per infraction under the provision, Forbes reported.
Despite Biden attempting to force Americans into taking the jab at risk of being fired, his position is unpopular with a majority of the nation.
