Pope Francis Has It Right: God Doesn’t Err in Creation

Today, news outlets are buzzing with Pope Francis’ firm statement that creation (humanity) is made in God’s image.

In the twenty-page report, the Vatican declared, “In the light of Revelation, the Church resolutely reiterates and confirms the ontological dignity of the human person, created in God’s image and likeness and redeemed in Jesus Christ.”

The release titled Dignitas Infinita also emphasized the value of life in connection with the growing practice of euthanasia, strongly opposing this measure.

Considering the transgender movement affecting most of the Western World, along with the continued acceptance of human euthanasia, the Vatican asserted imperative statements affirming the validity of God’s role in creating humanity, specifically as male and female. The declaration also highlighted God’s sovereign control in man’s end, firmly forbidding suicide and euthanasia.

The Bible clearly states that each human soul is unique, proclaiming that mankind is created in God’s image (Genesis 1:27).

God didn’t error in creating each individual, making everyone distinctive. However, when you remove God from schools, morals, and general society, secular humanists define the standards of life, which appears to be happening in much of Europe and the United States.

The Pope’s statement is encouraging worldwide, especially in the United States, where Catholics continue to make up much of the voting bloc.

Protestants, too, should feel proud and encouraged by the Vatican’s official statements.

Similar to abortion, there is no voice for life and morality outside of humanity and God’s people.

Sadly, attacks on key Christian principles seem to get worse, and Christians must proclaim Christ’s standards not only as the precepts set forth for humanity but also as the only hope we have in a society growing increasingly nonspiritual and anti-Christian.

Make no mistake, Christianity is under attack, as it has been since the persecution of early Christians in the Roman Empire.

The great apologist Francis Schaeffer predicted once abortion came, euthanasia would soon follow. Christians worldwide and from every denominational sect must be prepared to defend the faith and God’s standards (1 Peter 3:15).

While many voters dislike mixing politics and religious ideals, the 2024 election results are more essential in defining morality than any other election in recent history. While no political party is perfect, it appears only one still fights for traditional Christian tenets. A vote for President Donald Trump is more critical than ever before.
