President Trump will return to the Badger State to rally his base in support of America First candidates, especially Tim Michels, who is running for governor.
On Aug. 5, the 45th president will speak to supporters in Waukesha, Wisconsin, at 8:00 p.m. ET, according to a Tuesday announcement from President Trump’s Save America PAC. Rally speakers, which have yet to be announced, will give remarks at 5:00 p.m. ET.
The announcement states that President Trump will deliver “remarks in support of Tim Michels for Governor of Wisconsin and the entire Wisconsin Trump Ticket.” The 45th president’s visit will come just days before the state’s primary on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
Michels has recently gained attention for his stance on election integrity. Earlier this month, he left open the possibility of decertifying Wisconsin’s 2020 election results.
Michels pledged on his campaign website that as governor, “addressing the election mess will be among the first things” he does on his “very first day in office.”
Free tickets to the rally, which will take place at the Waukesha County Fairgrounds, can be found here. RSBN will have all-day, live coverage of President Trump’s next Wisconsin rally. Stay tuned for more details.
