President Trump blasts Kamala Harris for her claims about 2024 election

President Trump is fighting back against former Vice President Kamala Harris after her comments regarding the 2024 presidential election. Harris recently appeared on The View to discuss her new book, 107 Days, which details her presidential campaign after she replaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee.

As suggested by the title of her book, Harris claimed the rushed nature of her campaign was the reason she was unsuccessful in defeating Trump. She also described the election as “the closest presidential race in the 21st century.”

On Wednesday, President Trump pushed back against her comments in a post on Truth Social.

“Kamala Harris, who is DUMB AS A ROCK, is going around and using, as a standard part of her Speech on why she lost the Election, that 2024 was the ‘closest Presidential Election in the 21st Century.’ Everyone knows this is a lie, and was covered as such by Fox News!” President Trump said.

Despite spending $1.5 billion, the Harris campaign was ultimately defeated by the Trump campaign in the popular vote, the Electoral College and all seven swing states. President Trump continued to highlight the electoral results, which contradicted Harris’s claim, and pointed to the 2000 election between George W. Bush and Al Gore as an example of a much closer race.

“I won the Electoral College, 312-226, a LANDSLIDE, Counties Nationwide, 2,600 to 525, a LANDSLIDE, all seven Swing States, a LANDSLIDE, and, despite the fact that California’s Fake Mail In Ballots came in at ridiculous numbers (It was RIGGED!), I still won the Popular Vote by MILLIONS!” President Trump said. “Bush, as an example, won the Election by 537 Votes, and many other Elections were very close. Kamala’s ‘closest in the 21st Century’ soundbite was, like everything else in the Democrat Party, A TOTAL LIE! I expect an apology. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
