President Donald Trump is set to return to Arizona in April as a featured speaker for Turning Point USA, just months after TPUSA’s founder and leader, Charlie Kirk, was tragically killed.

According to the organization, the president is scheduled to speak on April 17 at Dream City Church in Phoenix, Arizona. Cleverly, registration for the event requires a voter registration check.

The event is titled “BUILD THE RED WALL,” and is clearly positioned at drumming up key Republican voting support as the midterm elections rapidly approach.

President Donald Trump has not spoken at a Turning Point event in quite some time, so his return to Arizona will be exciting for students. He notably delivered remarks at the TPUSA memorial service for Charlie Kirk last September. He has also extended his support for Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk, as she has taken on the role of CEO and chairwoman of the organization in the wake of her husband’s passing.

Since taking the helm, Ms. Kirk has overseen TPUSA’s annual America Fest event and launched the “All-American Halftime Show” as an alternative to the traditional Super Bowl Halftime Program in February.

That same month, Ms. Kirk was invited to attend the president’s State of the Union address as his special guest.

Despite the absence of Charlie Kirk, TPUSA’s mission has continued. The organization has continued the “This Is The Turning Point” spring campus tour across the country, as well as TPUSA Faith’s 2026 “Make Heaven Crowded Tour.”

President Trump is currently overseeing the war against Iran in Operation Epic Fury. Perhaps due to the pressures of supervising this conflict, the president declined to speak at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Texas last week, marking the first time in a decade that he missed the event.
