During a historic visit to an energetic crowd of union workers in New York City, President Trump gave quick remarks to the press about his presidential immunity case, which will be heard at the Supreme Court on Thursday morning.
“We have a big case today,” Trump said, adding that the judge in his criminal trial, Juan Merchan, is refusing to allow him to go.
“A president has to have immunity,” he emphasized to reporters. “If you don’t have immunity, you just have a ceremonial president.”
