Speaking openly about the major problems afflicting the nation under the current administration, President Donald Trump said that the United States has lost the respect it once enjoyed.

In an exclusive interview with Bret Baier on Fox News, President Trump made passing mention of a number of important problems the nation is currently facing.

The president focused primarily on the bloated inflation, along with the extreme turmoil at the southern border and the lack of support for American troops.

“We have to straighten out the economy. We are going to do that through inflation,” the president said, as Americans continue to struggle under Joe Biden’s failing economic policies.

It is not surprising that the majority of Republican voters prefer President Trump to clean up Biden’s mess given the Trump administration’s flourishing economic policies that have guaranteed all-time low prices in the United States.

According to RSBN, when asked who was “best to improve the economy,” National Research found that GOP supporters strongly preferred President Trump over Republican rival Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

During the Fox News exclusive, the 45th president also addressed the chaos at the southern border, stating, “We have to straighten out the border, where we have millions of people pouring in.”

“I had the safest border in the history of our country and now we have the most unsafe, I think in anywhere in the world. There has never been anything like it,” the president continued, emphasizing the stark contrasts between the approaches taken by Trump and the current administration toward the border.

Just last month, President Trump unveiled his plan to address the out-of-control border mayhem, which included signing an executive order instructing federal agencies that future children of illegal immigrants would not automatically be granted citizenship in the United States, RSBN reported.

The president also spoke about the necessity of helping military personnel, “get the woke out of our military,” and regaining the respect that the United States formerly enjoyed during the Trump administration.

“We had tremendous respect three years ago. We don’t have respect anymore,” Trump said. “They don’t listen to us, they don’t care about us, they just don’t do what we want them to do and what they have to do. Especially, since we make life very good for many countries. And we have to get that respect back and if we don’t, we have some big problems.”
