As the clock counts down to the Iowa caucus on Jan. 15, 2024, President Trump is ramping up visits to the Hawkeye State.

On Wednesday afternoon, the Trump campaign announced that the 45th president will take his next trip to Iowa on Wednesday, Dec. 13, to rally supporters in the city of Coralville, which is in Johnson County.

The Commit to Caucus event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center and will kick off at 4:00 p.m. ET. President Trump will deliver remarks at 7:00 p.m. ET.

This event will come just a week and a half after President Trump will have held similar Commit to Caucus events in Ankeny and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Dec. 2.

As the critical Iowa caucus draws closer, President Trump remains far ahead in the polls. A recent Morning Consult poll taken last week shows President Trump towering with 64 percent, up 50 points in the 2024 National Republican Primary over the next closest candidate. DeSantis came in second with just 14 percent.

In Iowa specifically, Trump is also leaps and bounds ahead of DeSantis. A poll taken in early November by Arc Insights showed the 45th president holding a commanding 27-point lead.

With the caucus right around the corner, Trump’s solid lead indicates a resounding primary victory is likely on the horizon.
