A pro-transgender man from Illinois is facing assault charges after allegedly “accosting” Rep. Nancy Mace, R-S.C.

According to the Daily Wire, a 33-year-old Illnois Man named James McIntyre was arrested by Capitol Police. Mace reported an incident at the Rayburn House Office Building around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

“House Division officers, and agents with the Threat Assessment Section, tracked down the suspect,” Capitol police told the outlet.

Mace spoke out about the incident on X Tuesday night. She wrote, “I was physically accosted tonight on Capitol grounds over my fight to protect women. Capitol police have arrested him.”

She added. “All the violence and threats keep proving our point. Women deserve to be safe. Your threats will not stop my fight for women!”

Mace had been recently threatened by trans-activists after introducing a Resolution to ban biological males from Congressional bathrooms, due to the first “trans woman, Sarah McBride” being elected.

Transgender activist Venus Andromeda posted graphic death threats against Mace, per the Post Millennial

The New York Post reported on another death threat Mace received in her voicemail.

In addition, last month, the Post Millennial reported that trans-activist Evan Greer also disrupted her speech at the Project Liberty Internet Summit at Georgetown University in Washington DC, attempting to reach her on the stage.

Despite this, Mace has remained steadfast in her fight to protect the rights of natural born women and girls.

Tuesday night, after reporting the most recent incident, she posted to X under the hashtag Hold the Line, noting, “Everyone deserves rights, no question. But one group’s rights should never come at the expense of another’s.”

Wednesday morning, she emphasized her position, stating, “Free speech should be free. And no one should be assaulted for their beliefs or their bills.”
