In a Saturday appearance on Fox News, Rep. Kat Cammack R-Fla., referred to Joe Biden as the “trafficker-in-chief,” citing his catastrophic immigration policies that have resulted in an astronomical uptick in human trafficking at the southern border of the United States.
According to a report from Breitbart News, Cammack called Biden’s regime a “Where’s Waldo? administration,” where, “no one can be found. No one wants to take responsibility.” She added, “The border is not secure. And you cannot have a secure nation unless you have secure borders. And if you don’t have secure borders, you’re not a sovereign nation.”
The southern border crisis, which resulted in over two million migrant encounters reported by the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in 2021, has opened the doors for human traffickers to move their human commodities onto American soil.
According to a report from Just The News, Laredo Sector Border Patrol agents in Texas halted three human smuggling attempts in a single 24-hour period. More than 70 foreigners were apprehended, and the encounters are stacking up.
Since President Trump left office in January 2020, Joe Biden has seemingly done everything in his power to keep the southern border open. He has since signed an executive order to halt the construction of the border wall as soon as he stepped foot in the White House, and he also halted the Migrant Protection Protocols (MPP) last summer. MPP is a Trump-era immigration initiative also known as the “Remain in Mexico” policy. A judge ordered Biden to reinstate the policy in November.
Further, Just The News shared former CBP Commissioner Mark Morgan’s comments on the John Solomon Reports Podcast, which highlights the heinous crimes against humanity that human traffickers inflict as they attempt to bring victims across the border and into the United States.
He said, “Border Patrol agents can tell you countless examples of where they’ve interviewed a 12, 14-year- old girl that was raped multiple times coming up here. And that’s why I say the most inhumane thing that this country could do is have open border policies for illegal immigration.”
In light of the reprehensible atrocities occurring at a chaotic and unsecured southern border at the hands of Joe Biden’s absent administration, Americans are no doubt longing for a return to President Trump’s staunch border policies.
Since Biden took office, CBP officials have seen a 140 percent increase in illegal crossings at the southern border, according to stats shared from the CBP and the Daily Mail. Many of these illegal crossings are human trafficking operations that are attempting to infiltrate American towns and cities, and Rep. Cammack is eager to pass legislation to secure the border despite Biden’s seeming inability to deal with the problem.
“If he chooses to veto it, then that is on his hands,” the congresswoman concluded in her interview on Fox. “We know that he is a trafficker-in-chief.”
