Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, took to Truth Social to express the country’s frustration with Joe Biden’s seemingly endless gaffes and visible confusion.
“Remember when we had a President who could do 5 rallies in a day, loved our troops, and stood up to the DC swamp?” he wrote. “Now, our ‘Commander in Chief’ Biden can’t even put a sentence together. NOT GOOD!”
President Donald Trump famously campaigned incredibly hard in 2016 and again in 2020 while he was president. According to a report from The Daily Caller, Trump told campaign staffers that they would be doing five rallies a day leading up to the 2020 presidential election.
By contrast, Joe Biden hardly campaigned at all and called a “lid” on his campaigning in September 2020 – only campaigning a total of 11 days that month, the Daily Caller reported.
Today, Joe Biden’s performance in the White House has drawn both criticism and concern from American voters on both sides of the political aisle. Biden has frequently made verbal gaffes while speaking, and there are many videos of him looking and acting extremely disoriented and confused on stage and while speaking to the press.
Unsurprisingly, Joe Biden’s catastrophic performance in the Oval Office has only increased the popularity of President Trump. A recent poll from Harvard CAPS Harris indicated that Trump remains the most favorably viewed political figure in the country, with 42 percent of registered voters reporting a positive view of the 45th president.
President Trump himself commented on Biden’s lack of energy and mental stamina in a post shared to Truth Social.
“President Biden is one of the oldest 79s in History, but by and of itself, he it not an old man,” he said. “There are many people in their 80s, and even 90s, that are as good and sharp as ever. Biden is not one of them, but it has little to do with his age. In actuality, life begins at 80!”
