Rep. Jason Smith, R-Mo., declared opposition to campaigns to smear the IRS whistleblowers who gave testimony against the Biden family during the House Oversight Committee Hearing on Wednesday.
He said, “Let me be clear, there will be zero tolerance for any retaliation against whistleblowers by DOJ and the IRS.”
He addressed concerns regarding whether or not “the wealthy and politically connected get special treatment.”
Smith noted that the House committees are working to “get to the bottom” of the situation and prevent preferential treatment from being utilized within the justice system.
He then declared, “Americans should not have to accept two tiers of justice in this country. One, if your last name is Biden, and one for everybody else.”
