Saudi Arabia’s crown prince told President Donald Trump on Thursday that he plans to invest $600 billion in the U.S. over the next four years.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) made the comments during a phone call with Trump, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

“The crown prince affirmed the kingdom’s intention to broaden its investments and trade with the United States over the next four years, in the amount of $600 billion, and potentially beyond that,” the agency reported.

The crown prince also reportedly spoke with newly sworn-in Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Thursday.

Trump spoke about the possibility of visiting Saudi Arabia as his first international trip in comments on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

“The first foreign trip typically has been with the U.K. but … I did it with Saudi Arabia last time because they agreed to buy $450 billion worth of our products,” Trump told journalists in the Oval Office. “If Saudi Arabia wanted to buy another $450 billion or $500 — we’ll up it for all the inflation — I think I’d probably go.”

Trump previously visited the Middle Eastern nation in 2017.

The announcement comes as the president continues to work toward achievements in the Middle East. Trump celebrated the release of the first three Israeli hostages from Hamas in Gaza on Sunday ahead of his inauguration in a brief statement on his Truth Social profile Sunday.

“Hostages starting to come out today! Three wonderful young women will be first,” he wrote.

Emily Damari, Romi Gonen and Doron Steinbrecher reunited with their families after being abducted on Oct. 7, 2023, and held for 471 days.

Trump also previously released a statement following the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas.

“This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies. I am thrilled American and Israeli hostages will be returning home to be reunited with their families and loved ones,” he wrote on Jan. 15.

“With this deal in place, my National Security team, through the efforts of Special Envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, will continue to work closely with Israel and our Allies to make sure Gaza NEVER again becomes a terrorist safe haven. We will continue promoting PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH throughout the region, as we build upon the momentum of this ceasefire to further expand the Historic Abraham Accords. This is only the beginning of great things to come for America, and indeed, the World!” Trump continued.
