Scott Adams, the famed creator of the “Dilbert” comics and host of “Real Coffee with Scott Adams,” has passed away.

The news was revealed by Shelly Miles, his former spouse, during a livestream of his prolific show on Tuesday morning, where she shared an emotional and heartfelt final written message from the late Adams to his listeners.

“‘If you are reading this, things did not go well for me. I have a few things to say before I go. My body failed before my brain. I am of sound mind as I write this, January 1, 2026,” she read.

Miles continued reading Adam’s words: “‘Many of my Christian friends have asked me to find Jesus before I go. I am not a believer, but I have to admit the risk-reward calculation for doing so looked so attractive to me. So here I go. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and look forward to spending eternity with him. The part about me not being a believer should be quickly resolved if I wake up in heaven. I won’t need any more convincing than that. I hope I’m still qualified for entry.’”

The heartfelt message comes after Adams’ long battle with prostate cancer. He was just 68 years old when he passed away.

TPUSA Spokesman Andrew Kolvet wrote on X, “Scott Adams just passed. With his final breath on this earth he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He was useful to the world right up to the very end, just as he set out to do. May he rest in eternal glory and peace.”

Human Events Senior Editor Jack Posobiec added, “Scott Adams spent his last breath doing everything he could to help the American people[.] This man was a patriot[.]”

Before his passing, President Donald Trump positively intervened in Adams’ health journey after the late cartoonist announced that he was unable to receive a radiotherapy drug from Kaiser Permanente, RSBN previously reported. It’s unclear how, or even if, the president acted to help Adams receive that treatment, but he was clearly sympathetic.

On Tuesday, the president reacted to news of Adams’ passing, honoring him with a statement on Truth Social:

“Sadly, the Great Influencer, Scott Adams, has passed away. He was a fantastic guy, who liked and respected me when it wasn’t fashionable to do so. He bravely fought a long battle against a terrible disease. My condolences go out to his family, and all of his many friends and listeners. He will be truly missed. God bless you Scott!”
