As we step into the new year and President Donald Trump begins his second term, Christian conservatives and like-minded patriots share a sense of optimism. We believe significant and positive changes are on the horizon.
Patriotism is inarguably growing, notably among younger generations with a focus on individual freedom. The MAGA movement has gained significant steam, picking up followers from all walks of life. Christian conservatives have been a loyal constituency to Trump and MAGA and once again remained a core part of his voting bloc in 2024.
History reveals that genuine conservatism has always been closely tied to the Christian faith. President Trump’s win presents a chance to restore Christian values nationally. His political agenda reflects these principles, emphasizing freedom, family and safety. This alignment provides Christian conservatives with confidence that their faith and family values will remain central to his administration.
It is no surprise that radical left movements, such as socialism and communism, are direct enemies of Christianity. The late Billy Graham argued as much, often noting that communism was the political ideology of the devil. Christianity flourishes under small governments and individual freedom, as history proves in nations that allow such religious liberty.
President Trump hasn’t even taken office yet but has already embarked on a serious journey of change. He has put his strong support behind House Speaker Mike Johnson, a devout Christian who upholds biblical principles. Trump himself has even directly alluded to Johnson’s faith as a personal attribute he respects.
In the aftermath of the recent terror attack in New Orleans on New Year’s Eve, the need for freedom and security has never been more evident. President Trump’s appointments in the Department of Homeland Security and Justice are strong indicators that the crime epidemic will be met with direct measures, providing us with a renewed sense of safety and protection.
Conservatism, at its core, is about freedom, safety, and embracing a law-and-order mentality. The Reagan administration championed such values, and Trump, in his first term, continued this tradition. In his second term, we can expect these principles to take an even stronger hold, shaping a nation where conservative ideals thrive.
As we look ahead to the next four years, we see an opportunity not only to regain national pride but also to refocus on patriotism and deepen our faith in God. With Trump at the helm, we can expect a resurgence of these values, which are so dear to Christian conservatives and like-minded patriots. 2025 presents a unique chance to unite, uphold freedom and faith, and restore America’s greatness for future generations.
