Joe Biden’s open border policies have facilitated the mass influx of millions of unvetted illegal migrants from across the globe, and Americans are ready to see the chaos come to an end.
According to a new poll from CBS News/YouGov, a whopping 62 percent of registered voters in the United States are in favor of a nationwide government program that would deport migrants who are living in the United States illegally.
Speaker of the House Mike Johnson, R-La., has previously stated that as many as 16 million illegal migrants have poured into the country since 2021, and that number is only continuing to increase.
In May 2024, more than 24,000 Chinese nationals were encountered at the southwest border, marking an increase of 8,000 from May 2021. Migrants are additionally flooding in from places like Venezuela, Columbia, Iran, Yemen, Pakistan and the Congo.
The threat of domestic terrorism is at an all-time high, thanks to this unfettered flow of illegal migration from known terrorist-linked countries. Via The Jerusalem Post, FBI Director Christopher Wray told Congress this spring, “The threats from homegrown violent extremists that are jihadist-inspired, extremists, domestic violent extremists, foreign terrorist organizations, and state-sponsored terrorist organizations, all being elevated at one time since October 7 … that threat has gone to a whole other level.”
The newest data from CBS/YouGov handily illustrates just how fed-up Americans are about border security under the Biden administration. President Donald Trump has keenly tapped into this frustration, and the promised implementation of a nationwide deportation operation in 2025 has become the foundation of his 2024 reelection campaign.
President Trump told TIME magazine this year, “We have to do whatever we have to do to stop the problem we have. Again, we have a major force that’s forming in our country, when you see that over the last three weeks, 29,000 people came in from China, and they’re all fighting age, and they’re mostly males. Yeah, you have to do what you have to do to stop crime and to stop what’s taking place at the border.”
Trump has alluded to utilizing federal military power along with state National Guard forces and local law enforcement to quickly carry out the deportation operation.
