Americans of faith are strongly coalescing around President Donald Trump’s 2024 reelection, and a recent slew of powerful endorsements in the great state of Iowa handily demonstrated his campaign’s strength.
In an official announcement from the Trump campaign in late November, they heralded more than 150 endorsements from the faith community in the Hawkeye State, demonstrating “President Trump’s broad appeal amongst Iowa’s evangelical community” that seems to be gaining momentum as the 2024 general election looms closer.
“No other president has ever fought for Christians as hard as I have,” Trump told faith leaders in Washington, D.C., earlier this year at the “Pray, Vote, Stand Summit.”
He noted that he had done “more to uphold religious liberty than any other administration” when he was in the White House.
According to the Trump campaign, “Policies protecting religious freedom and promoting moral values have been a cornerstone of President Trump’s leadership. His Administration consistently advocated for issues critical to people of faith, including the protection of religious liberties, the defense of life, and the support of family values.”
They stated that his campaign was “energized by the expanding grassroots support from the faith community and remains committed to engaging with faith leaders across the state, listening to their concerns, and working together to ensure a future where religious freedoms are protected and cherished.”
President Trump will be headed back to Iowa on Saturday, where he will deliver back-to-back speeches in Ankeny and Cedar Rapids at Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus events. He is currently leading by wide margins in the Hawkeye State, with a recent Arc Insights/Fields of Freedom poll illustrating his 27-point lead ahead of the Iowa caucuses in January.
Per the Trump campaign, Pastor Joseph Hall of the Iowa Crossroads Church stated of the 45th president, “His policies have been instrumental in protecting our religious freedoms and nurturing the moral fabric of our nation. No one has fought harder for our nation, for our future, and for our faith than President Trump!”
