France has been fighting a hard battle against the tyranny of medical restrictions related to the coronavirus “pandemic,” and on Saturday, their fight continued at the Eiffel Tower in Paris as thousands of people gathered to demonstrate their opposition to the fascist edicts being pushed on them by the French government.
French people gathered on the green lawn just below the iconic Eiffel Tower, waving French flags while listening to rallying cries against tyranny on loudspeakers and bullhorns.
The protest is part of an ongoing, civilian-led pushback against the overreaching policies of the French government who has been implementing draconian lockdowns and health “passports” across the country since the coronavirus outbreak in 2020.
In 2021, the French people began rising up and demonstrating their frustrations with their government, taking to the streets every weekend and marching in crowds of tens of thousands.
According to the United States Embassy and Consulates in France, the restrictions in French cities are still as rigid as ever. Face masks, for example, are mandatory in all indoor places regardless of vaccination status, and in Paris, they must even be worn outdoors. Even worse, those aged 65 or older must have received at least one Covid booster shot to keep their “health pass” active, while younger people will need a booster shot between three and seven months after their second Covid dose to keep their health passes current.
Reuters reported that France has experienced a surge in Covid infections, reporting 305,322 new cases on Thursday. The French government will likely not let their emergency powers go so easily in light of the supposedly rising case numbers of coronavirus infections in the country today.
In fact, French president Emmanuel Macron vowed to make life uncomfortable and difficult for those who were unvaccinated in January, telling the Le Parisien newspaper that he really wanted to “bug them.” He continued, “We are putting pressure on the unvaccinated by limiting, as much as possible, their access to social activities.”
The people of France are clearly not responding positively to Macron’s attempts to implement authoritarianism on those who wish to maintain their freedom of medical choice.
The protest at the Eiffel Tower today is just another example of liberty-loving French people taking a stand for their freedoms as the global fight against tyranny marches onward.
