President Donald Trump is expected to arrive in court in New York on Tuesday at 2:15 p.m. ET, where he will face charges, multiple sources reported.
As reported by RSBN, Trump is reportedly set to be charged with 34 felony counts related to “falsifying” business records, according to unidentified sources who “leaked” this information to the press.
On Monday evening, President Trump addressed the leaked points of indictment, demanding the resignation of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
“D.A. BRAGG JUST ILLEGALLY LEAKED THE 33 points of Indictment,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “There are no changes or surprises from those he leaked days ago directly out of the Grand Jury. No Crime by Trump. What a MESS. Bragg should resign, NOW!”
According to Reuters, a trial for the case would be set for at least a year from now, which would potentially conflict with the 2024 presidential election. Further, Reuters noted that either a conviction or an indictment cannot legally stop Trump from running for the presidency.
Per RSBN, Trump will probably not be handcuffed or photographed for the arraignment on Tuesday afternoon. The Gateway Pundit reported that the judge presiding over the case, New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, previously oversaw the tax fraud cases of the Trump Organization and former Trump CFO Allen Weisselberg.
The outlet also revealed that Merchan’s daughter, Loren Merchan, is an alleged Democrat who reportedly worked on Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign in the past, according to her LinkedIn page, which claims a prior position of “Director of Digital Persuasion” for the campaign.
President Trump slammed Justice Merchan last week, accusing him of bias. “The Judge ‘assigned’ to my Witch Hunt Case, a ‘Case’ that has NEVER BEEN CHARGED BEFORE, HATES ME,” he wrote on Truth Social.
The president said that Merchan was “hand picked by Bragg & the Prosecutors, & is the same person who ‘railroaded’ my 75 year old former CFO, Allen Weisselberg, to take a ‘plea’ deal…”
