President Trump attacked Joe Biden’s cognitive state during an energetic Save America rally in Greenwood, Nebraska on Sunday night, calling on Biden to “put the question to rest by taking a cognitive test.” He also urged Biden to release the results “for the world to see.”
“Just look at the video of Joe Biden attempting to speak last week very tough to Russia and Putin,” he told the audience. A clip of Biden stumbling over his words and appearing to be very confused was then played on the jumbo screens for the crowds to watch.
“And it got worse, but we don’t have all afternoon, do we?” he quipped.
This is not the first time that Trump has mocked Biden for his bad habit of fumbling his words. In a previous rally in Delaware, Ohio, Trump called Biden “bewildered.” He continued, “We have a president right now, sadly, who has absolutely no idea what the hell is happening. He’s shaking hands with the air; he’s walking around somewhat bewildered.”
Trump’s rally in Nebraska on Sunday was charged with energy as the crowd broke into shouts of “Joe’s gotta go!”
President Trump additionally remarked, “What a mess this country’s in…but we’ll turn it around…I just hope it’s not too late in some respects.”
