President Trump has called on Congress to investigate the endless “Witch Hunts” and “Election Interference” being waged against him as the 2024 presidential election marches closer.
In a Thursday comment made to Truth Social, Trump derided the ongoing “classified documents” investigation that has been spearheaded by Special Counsel Jack Smith.
He wrote:
“Congress will hopefully now look at the ever continuing Witch Hunts and ELECTION INTERFERENCE against me on perfectly legal Boxes, where I have no doubt that information is being secretly ‘planted’ by the scoundrels in charge, the Perfect Phone Calls (Atlanta), the illegal DOJ/Pomerantz/Manhattan D.A. Hoax, where virtually EVERYONE agrees THERE IS NO CASE, and the NYSAG SCAM, where I have proven beyond a doubt that there is no case, but have a hostile Judge who should not be on this case!”
On August 14, President Trump is set to face trial for the federal investigation into the “classified” documents that were seized by the FBI from his home, Mar-a-Lago, in Florida.
Interestingly, Trump’s comments on the matter come just days after a federal magistrate granted the DOJ’s request to block the president from sharing information related to the case on social media or with the press via a gag order, RSBN reported.
The president added in all-caps, “CONGRESS, PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE POLITICAL WITCH HUNTS AGAINST ME CURRENTLY BEING BROUGHT BY THE CORRUPT DOJ AND FBI, WHO ARE TOTALLY OUT OF CONTROL.”
He noted that the continuing “SAGA” against him was “RETRIBUTION AGAINST ME FOR WINNING, AND, EVEN MORE IMPORTANTLY TO THEM, ELECTION INTERFERENCE REGARDING THE 2024 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.”
He called it an “UPDATED FORM OF RIGGING” America’s election systems. “LOOK AT THE POLLS – THEY CAN’T BEAT ME (MAGA!) AT THE BALLOT BOX, THE ONLY WAY THEY CAN WIN IS TO CHEAT. STOP THEM NOW!” he declared.
