When it comes to advocating for strong border policies, President Trump has always spoken his mind. Although he was critical of his predecessor, former President Joe Biden, Trump now seems to be pointing the spotlight at the people truly responsible for the disastrous border policy during Biden’s term in office.
In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump seemed to defend Biden’s record on immigration before becoming president and focused criticism on those truly responsible.
“Joe Biden was not for Open Borders, he never talked about Open Borders, where criminals of all kinds, shapes, and sizes, can flow into our Country at will,” Trump said. “It wasn’t his idea to Open the Border, and almost destroy our Country, and cost us Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to get criminals out of our Country, and go through the process we are going through now. It was the people that knew he was cognitively impaired, and that took over the Autopen.”
Trump had earlier criticized those in Biden’s administration who seemed to be running the show, as Biden was unaware of what was happening.
In his post, President Trump continued to emphasize that criticism pointing out the unauthorized use of power that allegedly occurred by those closest to Biden.
“They stole the Presidency of the United States, and put us in Great Danger. This is TREASON at the Highest Level! They did it to destroy our Country,” Trump said.
Trump pointed out that throughout Biden’s career, he did not demonstrate a desire to flood the country with drugs or allow unchecked illegal border crossings.
“The Joe Biden that everybody knew would never allow drug dealers, gang members, and the mentally insane to come into our Country totally unchecked and unvetted,” Trump said. “All anyone has to do is look up his record. Something very severe should happen to these Treasonous Thugs that wanted to destroy our Country, but couldn’t, because I came along. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
