The Loudoun County, Virginia, Trump campaign office was burglarized over the weekend, according to law enforcement.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office revealed the details of the criminal activity in a statement that occurred around 9 p.m. on Sunday.

“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said in the statement. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.”

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities stating they have video surveillance of the suspect. He was described as “a white adult male, wearing dark clothing, a dark cap, and a backpack.”

The office is located in the 20000 block of Ashbrook Place. It also serves as the headquarters of the Virginia 10th District Republican Committee.

The Ashburn, Virginia, location is also near Washington, D.C., and is within Loudoun County, the location of notable parental rights issues in recent years involving the Loudoun County School District.

No suspects have yet been arrested as of Tuesday morning.

The criminal activity comes shortly after an information breach by an Iranian-backed group reportedly hacked Trump’s presidential campaign. The FBI is currently investigating the case.

The hack included vetting information about vice presidential running mate, Ohio Sen. JD Vance. The details were sent to multiple political outlets, including Politico and The New York Times.

The hacker claimed they had a “variety of documents from legal and court documents to internal campaign discussions.”

President Donald Trump took to Truth Social to share the news with his followers.

“We were just informed by Microsoft Corporation that one of our many websites was hacked by the Iranian Government – Never a nice thing to do!” Trump said. “They were only able to get publicly available information but, nevertheless, they shouldn’t be doing anything of this nature.”
