President Donald Trump visited Pickens, South Carolina, on Saturday to celebrate the birth of American independence, drawing tens of thousands of excited patriots who showed up to support the 45th president of the United States.

“We need our independence BACK to be honest with you,” he declared.

The rally was held on the Main Street of Pickens, where President Trump warmly paid homage to the spirit of liberty that marked the start of the Revolutionary War.

“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be to kick off the 4th of July weekend than right here on Main Street…with patriots who believe in God, family, and country!” he told a wildly energetic crowd.

The president continued, “Let me begin by wishing each and every one of you a happy Independence Day!”

He noted that American freedom was under attack, and that “our Constitution is being ripped to shreds.”

Trump also slammed his political opponent, Joe Biden, for his alleged corruption amid House Republicans’ investigation into his family for reportedly taking money from foreign countries.

“The fake news media has finally started to admit what we all knew: Joe Biden is the most corrupt president in American history, by far – he’s a criminal and a liar to sold his office to foreign countries and many other people,” he concluded.
