President Donald Trump reigned supreme during Friday night’s Waukesha, Wisconsin Save America rally, touting his incredible endorsement record on the heels of a hot streak of primary victories across the country this week.
He triumphantly told the crowd, “This has been an exceptional week for the America First movement – exceptional. You probably saw that the Trump-endorsed candidate Blake Masters easily won the nomination for the U.S. Senate in Arizona. Kari Lake won the nomination for Arizona governor. Tudor Dixon won the nomination for Michigan governor. John Gibbs defeated RINO congressman Peter Meijer.”
Trump added, “This week, we’re 45 wins and no losses – is that good?” The crowd cheered in response.
He additionally pointed out, “In Texas, [we’re] 33 and 0.”
Trump’s rally primarily stumped for Tim Michels, the Trump-endorsed gubernatorial candidate in Michigan, as well as Adam Steen, who is challenging Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
The crowd was ready and eager to hear Trump speak, breaking out into chants of “WE LOVE YOU!”
Trump further told rallygoers that he was happy to be back in Wisconsin. “It’s great to be back in this magnificent state with thousands of proud, hardworking American patriots,” he said.
Discussing inflation, Trump contrasted the flailing Biden economy with the Trump administration’s economic success. “Under the Trump administration, we had the greatest economy in the history of the world – with no inflation, by the way,” he said.
He encouraged the people of Wisconsin to show up and vote on Tuesday for Michels, who he called the “big time.” He also called him a “proud America First patriot who was with us right from the beginning.”
