President Trump caught the attention of thousands of MAGA supporters during his Saturday evening rally in Perry, Ga., when he told them “I have no doubt we won, and we won big” and also promising that the country would witness a huge victory in the next presidential election.
“Talking about 2020, the most corrupt election in the history of our country, the most corrupt election in the history of most countries,” Trump said will “be followed by an even more glorious victory in November of 2024!”
“We are going to have a big, big, beautiful victory,” he added. “If we have a country left in 2024 – that’s a problem.”
The 45th president spent much of his time speaking in great detail about the negative effects that the Democrat Party’s agenda is having on our nation.
“Inflation is skyrocketing, unemployment is rising at a level that nobody can believe, main streets are being boarded up, murders are through the roof,” Trump said. He continued on by speaking about topics ranging from the drug problems in Democrat-ran cities, to the politicization of senior ranks in our military, and most notably, calling attention to the open-border policies that he said are turning our country into “migrant camps.”
“They’re going after the riders of the horses and not those coming into our country illegally,” the president stated, describing the current influx of Haitian and other migrants flowing across the U.S.-Mexico border in Del Rio. “There is no greater crisis facing our nation today than the catastrophe on our southern border.”
In typical Trump rally fashion, multiple chants broke out during the speech. Everything from “USA, USA” to “Build that wall,” to “We want Trump!” echoed throughout the fairgrounds.
President Trump humorously brought up his original slogan of Make America Great Again, saying it may need to be revamped. We’re going to have to say “Make America Great Again, Again,” Trump joked. “We made it great, and now we have to Make it Great, Again.”
Addressing Georgia politics, he called for Sen. Raphael Warnock, R-Ga., to be defeated in the upcoming midterm election. “If you want to have a country left, you must elect no Democrats and only vote for America First Republicans, America First,” Trump declared. “The world is eating our lunch. They’re laughing at us.”
Although the 45th president focused mainly on policy and political jabs, he did pull at the heart-strings of the audience when he began speaking about the Afghanistan debacle, mentioning the brave service men and women that were killed in late August.
“In their memory tonight, we have 13 empty seats of honor, right here in the front row,” Trump told the crowd. “Our hearts go out to the families of every service member that we have lost.”
During his speech, President Trump criticized the current administration, questioning whether or not Joe Biden is even involved in any of the failed policies being implemented. “I don’t know if Joe is involved,” Trump said. “But somebody is really screwing up our country. They’re destroying our country.”
