President Donald Trump shared endorsements on Monday for two Republican candidates for the 2026 Arizona governor’s race against Democratic Gov. Katie Hobbs.

The president backed Karrin Taylor Robson and Rep. Andy Biggs in their efforts to flip the state’s top leadership position next year.

“I like Karrin Taylor Robson of Arizona a lot, and when she asked me to Endorse her, with nobody else running, I Endorsed her, and was happy to do so,” Trump began.

“When Andy Biggs decided to run for Governor, quite unexpectedly, I had a problem — Two fantastic candidates, two terrific people, two wonderful champions, and it is therefore my Great Honor TO GIVE MY COMPLETE AND TOTAL ENDORSEMENT TO BOTH. Either one will never let you down. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” he added.

Robson announced her campaign in December after speculation over her plans to run.

“I’m in. I am running for Governor so we can defeat radical Katie Hobbs, support President @realDonaldTrump, lock down the border, and create jobs for Arizona,” Robson posted on her social platform X account.

Robson previously ran in 2022, losing to Kari Lake in the GOP primary before Lake lost to Hobbs.

Biggs recently announced his plans to run for governor, thanking Trump for his endorsement in a post to X.

“Thank you, @realDonaldTrump! It’s been an honor to support you and fight for your agenda since 2016. I look forward to fighting along side you as Governor of Arizona, the greatest state in the nation!” Biggs wrote.

Biggs also recently announced the loss of his daughter following a battle with cancer.

“Earlier this week, our daughter Cosette lost her battle with cancer. We are devastated by her passing, but take comfort knowing she is at peace with the Lord. We are grateful our family could gather together to spend her final days by her side,” Biggs wrote last week.

“Thank you to everyone for your thoughts, prayers, and support. We are humbled by this great community and the outpouring of love for Cosette and our family,” he continued.
