The future looks bright for President Donald Trump as he continues to hold a tremendous lead heading to the 2024 presidential election.
“For all RINOS, Never Trumpers, Radical Left Democrats and, of course, the Fake News Media, please enjoy this latest poll from highly respected Emerson College. I’m sure you will be thrilled!” President Trump posted on Truth Social, highlighting his double-digit lead in a recent poll.
According to the Emerson College Polling survey conducted among 1,380 respondents on Nov. 18-19, President Trump leads a hypothetical 2024 Republican Primary by 30 points. The 45th president continues his lead on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, 55-25 percent.
Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling noted that there seems to be a strong divide in voting age, with younger voters under 50 supporting Trump over DeSantis, 67-14 percent. Trump still leads with voters between ages 50 and 64, by 54-32 percent. However, voters over 65 are split with 39 percent breaking for Trump and 32 percent for DeSantis.
Under a Twitter post about the poll, Kari Lake’s gubernatorial campaign showed support for the 45th president, writing, “83% for people who campaigned with @KariLake!”
Lake has been tremendously loyal to the 45th president. She even vowed to “never” distance herself from him following calls to ditch him in order to be a “conservative superstar,” RSBN reported.
Lake also showed her support by endorsing Trump following after announcing his presidential bid for 2024 last week, per RSBN.
