Pastors for Trump hosted a prayer call featuring President Donald Trump, who addressed the state of our nation and how people of faith can help.
Pastors for Trump self-describes themselves as a group of “Patriot Pastors” on their website. Their main goal is to connect Christians across the nation to aid President Trump and give Christians a voice in politics.
Their prayer call was organized in response to the Manhattan DA’s potential indictment of President Trump, which may lead to his arrest, per RSBN.
Within minutes of the call’s start, Roger Stone joined Pastor Lahmeyer and stated, “Until you have been in the eye of the storm you cannot really appreciate what the president is going through.”
During the short time President Trump was able to communicate, he noted difficulties with his phone line and suspicions of foul play from his opposition.
When asked what Americans should pray for, Trump described the obstacles facing the U.S. and stated, “We’ve never been in this danger before.”
His focus was not on himself or his current legal battle, but on the nation as a whole. Even when pressed to further direct Americans on how they can pray specifically for him, Trump said, “The best thing you can do for me is to pray for our country and the safety of our country.”
