America First leaders laughed with President Donald Trump during his record-breaking Address of the Joint Session of Congress Tuesday night as he listed off just a few of the wasteful government programs that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) exposed.
The 47th president spoke for an extensive one hour and forty minutes, the longest address in American history, per Fox News, and it’s no wonder due to the long list of taxpayer-funded programs that he mocked as “appalling waste.”
Trump called out $40 million in funding for economic inclusion programs for sedimentary migrants. “Nobody knows what that is,” he added, causing conservatives to laugh.
He noted that $8 million in taxpayer dollars went to promoting LGBTQI+ in an African nation called Lesotho, “Which nobody has ever heard of.”
Conservatives also laughed when he explained that $8 million was given to programs to make mice transgender. “This is real,” he went on.
From American dollars funding minority empowerment in Columbia to male circumcision in Mozambique, the list continued. The president pointed out that $20 million funded the Arab version of Sesame Street. “It’s a program. $20 million dollars for a program.”
He also joked about the $47 million that was found to be funding education programs in Asia to improve Learning outcomes. “Asia’s doing very well with learning. I don’t know what we’re doing. We should use it ourselves.”
Here in the U.S. tens of millions have been going to “lavish fish monitoring,” he noted, and free hotel rooms, cars and housing for illegal aliens.
He went further to call out former Georgia Representative, democrat Stacy Abrams for her ties to a climate group that received nearly $2 billion for the decarbonization of homes, which was reported on by the New York Post. This comes after pro-Abrams groups were fined $300,000 for breaking Georgia’s campaign finance law, per the Associated Press.
President Trump then praised Elon Musk and DOGE, stating, “We have found hundreds of billions of dollars of fraud.”
“We’ve taken back our money and reduced our debt to fight inflation and other things,” he concluded.
Wednesday morning, the Trump administration released a brief that highlighted his accomplishments thus far. It further rebuked Democrats who refused to stand against government waste, fraud and abuse, among a list of other successes that Americans overwhelmingly supported in the CBS polling of Trump’s address.
