President Trump sent a message of strength to the American public on Saturday afternoon following a week of chaos caused by the FBI’s unprecedented raid on Mar-a-Lago.
Trump showed the D.C. establishment that he refuses to back down, even after the DOJ proved it was willing to weaponize the FBI to invade his home. He wrote a simple, yet impactful statement on Truth Social: “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”
His 2016 campaign slogan has been a symbol of hope for freedom-loving Americans and has served as a warning to the political establishment. Trump’s use of the phrase at this time shows that he will not stop fighting for the American people, no matter what investigation, hoax, raid, or any other intimidation tactics they attempt.
Because he has the “TRUTH” on his side, Trump predicted that he will “ultimately be victorious!”
“Like all of the other Hoaxes and Scams that they’ve used to try and silence the voice of a vast majority of the American People, I have TRUTH on my side, and when you have TRUTH, you will ultimately be victorious!” Trump wrote on Truth Social Saturday.
Despite the raid, which appears to be politically motivated to hurt Trump in the public eye, the American people support him more than ever.
“Just received the strongest poll numbers I have ever gotten, and the largest amount of campaign contributions from the ‘people’. The public gets the ‘Scam’, but this time much earlier than all of the others,” the 45th president added on Truth Social.
The 45th president’s posts on Truth Social come after Attorney General Merrick Garland filed a motion to unseal the search warrant the FBI used to invade Trump’s private residence in Florida. The warrant revealed broad parameters for the seizure of property, leading some to believe that the Justice Department lacked probable cause.
Attorney Elad Hakim weighed in on the situation, opining that releasing the warrant without affidavits fails to explain an unannounced raid.
Hakim wrote for RSBN:
“A warrant must be based on credible information that is sufficient to establish probable cause. In this case, probable cause was seemingly derived from information provided by one or more informants. These informants likely provided affidavits that clearly and specifically laid out the facts providing the basis for the warrant and a finding of probable cause.
While the warrant and a receipt of what documents were seized are important, the affidavit(s) is/are vital. Here, the FBI raided the personal residence of a former president without notice.”
The DOJ has not indicated that it plans to release affidavits.
